Office Closure in Observance of Thanksgiving (11/26 and 11/27)

The Sales Simplicity office will be closed Thursday and Friday, November 26 and 27, 2020, in observance of Thanksgiving. We will resume our regular support hours of 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Mountain time on Monday, November 30th, 2020. Update to Sales Simplicity Version 20.1

Version 20.1 of Sales Simplicity will be released to your environment beginning at 9:00 PM PST on 9/29/2020. This update is estimated to take 4 hours. To make sure you do not lose anything you are working on, please make sure to save your work and log out of the system prior to the installation date and time listed above. You will be logged out of Sales Simplicity when the update begins.

This update is a service pack to version 20.0 that addresses a number of bugs that are detailed in the release notes below.

Sales Simplicity Update to Version 20.0

Version 20.0 of Sales Simplicity will be released to your environment beginning at 9:00 PM PST on 6/10/2020. This update is estimated to take 4 hours. To make sure you do not lose anything you are working on, please make sure to save your work and log out of the system prior to the installation date and time listed above. You will be logged out of Sales Simplicity when the update begins.

Some key notes about this update:

  • Password Requirements have changed to help ensure account and data security. Upon your first login after the 20.0 update, you will be prompted to change your password to fulfill the following requirements:
    • 8 Character Minimum
    • One upper case letter, one lower case letter, and one number required
    • Assorted special characters are allowed (!”#$%&'()*+,-./:;<=>?@[\]^_`{|}~)
    • Case sensitivity will always be enforced.

If you would like to avoid users needing to update their passwords after the update please have them update their passwords to meet the above criteria.

  • The Forgot Password process has been updated to require username and email address to receive the “Reset Password” email.
  • Improved loading times on Follow Up>To-Do Suite
  • Sign on Another Device for DocuSign has been improved to prevent blank popups
  • Various system updates and bug fixes

PLEASE READ: Upcoming Changes to Password Requirements

In the coming weeks version 20.0 of Sales Simplicity will be released. In that release is a change to password requirements to better ensure account and data security. This may have an impact on a large number of your users. Any user who has a password that does not meet the below minimum requirements will forced to update their password when they log into the application for the first time after the release. You may wish to inform your users of the upcoming change and instruct them to update their passwords so once the release is live there will be nothing they need to do.

New password requirements:

  • 8 Character Minimum

Introducing the New Sales Simplicity Documentation Site

Sales Simplicity is proud to announce our inclusion in the MiTek Support site, support.mii.com.

This is a resource for all users to access documentation, release notes, and video tutorials on features within Sales Simplicity.

All current documentation can easily be found in one site that all Sales Simplicity users can sign up for. Included below are registration and usage instructions for the support site. You can easily access this site by doing the following:

  • Click “Login” on support.mii.com
  • Select “Sales Simplicity Users, please click here” (right-hand side of the page) to access the registration page
  • Fill in ALL information. Passwords require a minimum of 7 characters, including one upper-case letter, one lower-case letter, and one number.
  • Once you click Submit, the form will be sent to MiTek for approval. You should receive an email confirmation once your registration has been confirmed.

Some things to keep in mind:

All documentation is subject to change, so it is recommended that you check back frequently for updates. You can subscribe to certain pages within the Support site to receive email updates when new articles or changes occur. Here is an example of this from the Release Notes archive page:

A major request is an updated Admin User Guide for Sales Simplicity. This is currently being worked on. In the meantime, you can find the existing Admin and Sales Agent User Guides in the User Guides section. You will also find that there are newer topic-specific articles in the User Guides section to help bridge any gaps in the existing full-system guides.

Video tutorials are also being added to the Support site! All tutorial videos are five (5) minutes or less to provide a fast way to watch content.
