Sales Simplicity Update to Version 20.0

Version 20.0 of Sales Simplicity will be released to your environment beginning at 9:00 PM PST on 5/26/2020. This update is estimated to take 4 hours. To make sure you do not lose anything you are working on, please make sure to save your work and log out of the system prior to the installation date and time listed above. You will be logged out of Sales Simplicity when the update begins.

Some key notes about this update:

  • Password Requirements have changed to help ensure account and data security. Upon your first login after the 20.0 update, you will be prompted to change your password to fulfill the following requirements:
    • 8 Character Minimum
    • One upper case letter, one lower case letter, and one number required
    • Assorted special characters are allowed (!”#$%&'()*+,-./:;<=>?@[\]^_`{|}~)
    • Case sensitivity will always be enforced.

If you would like to avoid users needing to update their passwords after the update please have them update their passwords to meet the above criteria.

  • The Forgot Password process has been updated to require username and email address to receive the “Reset Password” email.
  • Improved loading times on Follow Up>To-Do Suite
  • Sign on Another Device for DocuSign has been improved to prevent blank popups
  • Various system updates and bug fixes

Office Closure in Observance of Veteran’s Day (Monday 11/11)

The Sales Simplicity office will be closed Monday, November 11, 2019, in observance of Veteran’s Day. We will resume our regular support hours of 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Mountain time on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. If you have a non-emergency, please email your requests to account@salessimplicity.com as usual to open a ticket that will be addressed upon our return to normal business hours.  If you have an emergency during these times, please use the Emergency After Hours Number. 

**UPDATE** **RESOLVED** Known Issue: Garage Orientation on Spec Homes

**UPDATE** On 9/24 a fix was pushed to resolve this issue. If you continue to see issues please contact support.

We are currently aware of an issue where the selected garage orientation for a spec home is not always pulling through correctly to the customer record.

Our development team is aware of the issue and researching a fix.

In mean time, if you need to take a customer to contract, you can work around this issue by going to subdivision>lots changing the selected garage orientation to blank, then on the customer record you will be able to select the garage orientation and go to contract.

We will update this post as we have more information.

Version 19.01 Release

The newest release version of Sales Simplicity, Version 19.01, will be released to your environment beginning at 9pm Pacific on Monday, September 23rd, 2019.  This update is expected to take up to 4 hours.  Please ensure your work is saved by this point, as you will be logged out of the system when the release begins.

Updates and Fixes in the release:

  • Remove task button fixed
  • “Send All” for sending multiple email tasks
  • Address labels for letter tasks
  • Various fixes to individual demographics
  • Adding Realtor no longer requires “Can edit loan officer Data”
  • Spec Home Attachments

FTP service switched to new IP Address

As of 7/30/2019 ftp.salessimplicity.net now points at the new IP address of 104.42.221.152

Most builders should see no issue with the changeover and should be able to login as normal.

If you *do* experience an issue with the new IP address, please reach out to support@salessimplicity.net and we will get you fixed up. 🙂

**UPDATED 7/25**RESOLVED**Known Issue with Phone Call Follow-up Tasks

The issue was identified and resolved. All phone call tasks should be working as normal

As of 7/24, our Support team has identified an issue regarding the completion of phone call follow up tasks. Some users may experience an error screen during task completion. Our Support and Development teams are investigating a solution to this issue. We will update this post as we get more information.

**UPDATED**Resolved**Workflow Service Currently Down

**UPDATE** As of approximately 9:45am Pacific Time this issue was resolved and the service is back on.

Per the previous post, after maintenance last night we are experiencing an issue with XML file generation. To troubleshoot and resolve that issue we have had to stop the Workflow service, which processes workflow events and sends workflow emails.

We do not currently have an ETA for resolution but will update this post as soon as we have more information.

No data will be lost and any workflow events triggered during the downtime will send once the service is turned back on.

Monday Night Scheduled Downtime for Maintenance

We will be performing scheduled maintenance that may result in inability to access your Sales Simplicity environment on July 22nd, 2019 (Monday night) from approximately 10pm-4am Pacific time. Please ensure all users have saved their work by the beginning of this scheduled downtime. Any questions or concerns please contact support@salessimplicity.com

UPDATE – The application is back up and running as of 3am PST.

XML file generation is not working properly and development is looking into it. Meanwhile, your XML files are safe in the queue waiting to be sent out when the service is behaving again.

Builders with ODBC access may need to request to have their login user re-associated with their database.
